Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) and Kishoreganj District Administration jointly arranged a discussion meeting on “No Accident, Save Life” held at local a community center in the town on Tuesday.
Deputy Commissioner Md. Azimuddin Biswas attended as Chief Guest while BRTA Senior Assistant Director Engineer Md. Shafiqul Islam presided over.
ADC (General) & D.S Torafder Md. Akther Jamil, A.D.M Md. Abdul Awal and Transport Owners Association Convenor Manik Ronjon Dey attended as special guest. It was addressed among others by Freedom Fighter Distrit Comonder Md. Asad Ullah, Hindu Kallan Trusti Lipu Roy, Transport Owners Association Member Secretary Lalin Rayhan Shubra Shaheen, Association Leader Alamgir Murad Reza, Co-operative President Md. Humayun Kabir, Sanak Paribohan President Md. Habibur Rahman and Traiffic Inspector.
At least 150 transport owners, driver, helpers, journalist, police officer and local elite were also present. A colourful rally brought out in the town led by D.C and Azimuddin Biswas.
