Sheikh Russel showed true resilience as they came back twice from a 1-0 down to force Brothers Union to share points in a 2-2 draw in the JB Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) at the Sheikh Fazlul Huq Moni Stadium, Gopalganj on Sunday.
Brothers looked more impressive in the first half as they shot into lead when their Haitian forward Augustine Walson, shot team into lead in the 29th minute and struck his second in the 59th.
However, Sheikh Russel staged a superb comeback with Mintu converting a penalty in the 64th minute as Cameroonian defender Jean Jules Ikanga slamming the equalizer in the 75th minute.
After 18 matches, Brothers Union have 23 points while Russel took their tally to 20.
