One of the twin brothers was allegedly stabbed to death by the other here at Khasonbir area in the city early Tuesday. The deceased was identified as Jubel Mia, 32, son of Ayaz Ali, and residence of Hazi Villah of the area.
Sources concerned said that the alleged killer brother Rubel stabbed Jubel with knife on his chest and hand at their house around 1:00am, leaving the latter seriously injured.
Jubel was later rushed to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital, where on-duty doctor declared him dead. Family members claimed that Rubel was a mental patient.
