A bilateral Memorandum of Understanding between Chattogram University of Engineering & Technology and British Council on the subject “Ambassador Program & IELTS Scholarship Scheme” was signed on Monday at CUET VC office chamber. On behalf of the Vice chancellor of CUET , Registrar Prof.Dr. Farukuzzaman chowdhury and the Director(Exam) of British Council, Chattogam chapter Mr. Serestian Piars signed the MOU on respective sides.
Among others, Associate professor of CUET & Coordinator for MOU Dr. Md. Kamrul Hasan, Head of Business Development (Exam Service) of British Council in Bangladesh Sarwat Reza,Accounts Relationship officer Syeda Wasima Jahir and Manager of British council (Exam) in Chattogram Harunur Rashid Riad were present on the occasion. Under the MOU , the students and officials of CUET will be allowed to participate the IELTS course from CUET campus and the exam of IELTS will also be held at CUET campus, sources added. According to sources of British council, two best successful students of IELTS exams will be provided scholarship of Tk.50 thousand each and will be designated as campus Ambassador.
