Robin Davies, Director, Partnership and Programes and Syed Masud Hossain, Head of Society Partnerships and Programes of British Council, Dhaka called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique at the latter’s office of the university on Thursday.
During the meeting, they discussed matters of mutual interests, particularly introduction of a new course namely “Citizenship” in three departments of Dhaka University in collaboration with the British Council Dhaka.
Through this course, it said, students will be equipped with knowledge and skills to serve the country with more dedication and sincerity.
Dr Arefin Siddique thanked the British Council authorities for supporting this course at the university.
