British Council Director Barbara Wickham called on Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr AAMS Arefin Siddique on Sunday at the latter’s office. Chairman of the Department of Theatre and Performance Studies of DU Sudip Chakroborthy was present on the occasion.
During the meeting they discussed various issues including development of English Language Courses at Dhaka University. They also discussed possibilities of strengthening on-going joint collaborative programs on English Teaching & Writing Methodology between Dhaka University and British Council.
They stressed the need for introducing internship and more development programs for students at Dhaka University.
