British Council Country Director, Bangladesh Barbara Wickham called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Md Akhtaruzzaman on Sunday at the latter’s office on the campus. She was accompanied by some other higher officials of British Council, a DU press release said. During the meeting, they discussed the possibilities of strengthening ongoing joint collaborative academic, research as well as skill development programmes being conducted by the DU and British Council. They also discussed about undertaking more new academic programes including English teaching and learning method, citizenship education and community engagement programmes for DU students under the joint auspices of Dhaka University and British Council.
