John McGovern, International Higher Education Consultant, UK, called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof AAMS Arefin Siddique on Monday at his office.
Mohammad Towhidur Rahman, Head of International Higher Education, Bangladesh and Regional Manager (South Asia) of British Council was present on this occasion.
During the meeting, they discussed ongoing different development projects conducted by DU with the financial assistance from British Council.
The British government is willing to provide more facilities to the university students as well as Bangladesh for higher study in UK, the British consultant informed.
The possibilities of introducing training programmes on finance, management, administration and leadership skills for DU faculties and officials in UK were also discussed in the meeting.
