The country is witnessing a brisk sale of electronic goods especially home appliances including refrigerator and television in city markets ahead of the two Eid festivals, showing a sign of hefty profit for traders of the growing industry.
Local manufacturers and importers have already beefed up their volume of products offering instant cash card discount and gifts inside scratch card keeping in mind customers’ extra demand for electronic goods during these festivals.
This correspondent visited a number of showrooms of electronic goods in the city and found that both local and foreign brands are selling well with offer of various discounts and reduction in prices.
Both local and foreign electronic brands-Walton, Marcel, MyOne, Konka and LG Butterfly, Singer, Electra Transcom and Sony Rangs-are the major players in the electronic market and those are displaying an array of home appliances such as pressure cooker, rice cooker, washing machine, iron machine, blunder machine, salad maker, food processor, induction oven and clothe dryer.
