Daffodil International University (DIU) has made remarkable achievement in Asia Summer Program held at University Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) recently. Students of DIU won the 2nd position in Talent competition & Cultural Program and 3rd position in Summer Rush Competition among the 35 teams of 14 universities of over 12 countries at Asia Summer Program 2014.
DIU students participated in International Food Festival organized by UniMAP, Malaysia where they represented our country at the food festival and offered our traditional delicious foods, which drew the attention of all the participants.
It was a huge cross-cultural gathering with their traditional Food and attire where Seventeen countries participated in the food festival.
DIU teachers and students also took part in a Tree Plantation Program and planted a saplings of Palm tree at UniMAP campus with Honorable Vice Chancellor and High Officials of Universiti Malaysia Perlis and CSR Cycling for more than 12 kilometers with His Royal Highness the Crown Prince of Perlis (Chancellor of UniMAP) in ASP 2014
Yang Berbahagia Dato Professor Emeritus Dr Zainai bin Mohamed, Chairperson, Board of Directors, UniMAP, Brig Gen Datuk Prof Dr Kamarudin Hussin, Vice Chancellor, all heads and officials of University Malaysia Perlis were present during the events and awarded the winners.
33 students and 5 faculty members from Daffodil International University went to Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) to join the program with other delegates from 14 universities of over 12 countries.
