The Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday issued a notification signed by the Ministry’s Deputy Secretary as per an order of
the President in this regard.
His job was handed over to the Security Services Division of the Home Ministry on deputation and the order will be implemented immediately, the notice said.
Besides, the former IG of Prisons Brigadier General Syed Iftekhar Uddin has been sent back to the Bangladesh Army.
Brigadier Iftekhar Uddin was made the IG Prisons on December 11 in 2013.
