Campus Report :British Council Bangladesh organized a briefing for Commonwealth Scholarship holders on their UK pre-departure at UGC auditorium on Wednesday. UGC Chairman Prof Abdul Mannan briefed them. UGC Chairman termed the Bangladeshi teachers and students, who have been awarded Commonwealth Scholarship as precious assest of the country. He urged them to utilize their talents in the nation building activities in Bngladesh after returning from UK at the end of higher study there. He wished the scholarship holders a meaningful, peaceful and happy life in UK. It maybe mentioned here that fifty six Bangladeshi teachers and students have been awarded Commonwealth Scholarship this year for pursuing Masters, M.Phil and Ph.D programme in different universities of UK.
