Ever since the trailer of ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ was unveiled on Sunday, fans have been busy discussing it. The film, which stars Gal Gadot in the lead role, is one of the most anticipated ones in the DC universe and will release in June next year. Amidst an outpouring of appreciation for the trailer, one tweet especially stood out – belonging to Brie Larson, who plays Carol Danvers/ Captain Marvel in the ‘Captain Marvel’. The two women have often been compared for playing female superheroes and have a huge fan following across the globe. The ‘Wonder Woman 1984’ trailer was packed with exciting action sequences, returning characters and, of course, nostalgia as it is based in the mid eighties. One notable point was the return of Wonder Woman’s love interest, who died in the original film. The film has two villains – Cheetah, a friend of Wonder Woman’s who wants her power and eventually turns evil, and Max Lord, a businessman who promises consumers that he will grant every wish of theirs, but at a terrifying cost.
