A brick kilns named Isha Khan brick Centre was fined Tk 80,000 on charge of cheat on consumers in the district on Monday afternoon.
A team of Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP) its supported by Consumers Association of Bangladesh (CAB) conducted raids in Isha khan brick kilns situated at Mohinandha in Kishoreganj Sadar.
The brick kilns owner is illegally operating those without thinking about the environment.
DNCRP, Assistant Director (AD) Rehdoy Ronjon Bonik said such drive against
violation of consumers’ rights will continue in future.
