Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BRCS) has started distributing warm clothes including blankets among the destitute people across the country. The BRCS has sents 42,800 blankets in 64 districts. 68 units are working to distribute the blankets, said a press release. BRCS Chairman Professor MS Akbar MP handed over the blankets to the officials of the organization on January 13. Professor MS Akbar MP said, the organization has been working for the people for long. It will also continue its social welfare activities in future. He called upon all the affluent people and organizations to help the destitute and underprivileged people.
