Newborn found dead near DMCH

Staff Reporter :A newborn was found dead on a footpath near the emergency department of Dhaka Medical College Hospital in Dhaka Friday morning.The identity of the one-day-old newborn of female sex could not be known until 2:45pm, said police.Shahbagh police sub-inspector Mohammad Zafar said that they, on information from the locals, recovered the body of the newborn near the DMCH emergency department at about 5:45am on Friday.He said that they came to know that a dog dragged the body there...
