Brahmanbaria district reached the women’s football final of the Bangabandhu 9th Bangladesh Games by defeating Rajshahi District 4-3 in a tiebreaker at Birshrestha Shreshtha Sepoy Mostafa Kamal Stadiumon Sunday.
The match between the two teams ended in a 1-1 draw after the scheduled time.
Brahmanbaria took the lead in the 42nd minute through a goal by Jasmine Akhter. Sankranti Biswas equalized Rajshahi in the 47th minute. In the end, Brahmanbaria won the tiebreaker.
