Vice Chancellor of BRAC University Prof Syed Saad Andaleeb, PhD inaugurated a special event ‘Cleaning the National Memorial’ on Tuesday. BRACU VC and its students visit the National Memorial at Savar and clean the place. This outstanding idea of inspiring patriotism has come from the VC.
The main objective of this unique effort is not to make the students oblivious about the glorious past of Bangladesh and to encourage the youth to reflect on the spirits of those Martyrs who sacrificed their lives to create Bangladesh.
BRAC University aims to create future leaders by enhancing the patriotic feelings, nourishing and upholding that positive zeal in every occasion and in every positive ways. This special initiative taken by the Vice Chancellor of BRAC University is a brilliant move to include students in activities through which they can realize the value of patriotism an essential quality of future leaders.
Through the cleaning activity, students will be able to perceive strongly the necessity of preserving a historical landmark like the National Memorial which will always be a symbol of love and selfless sacrifice for the motherland.
