BRAC Bank has received $70 million (Taka around 546 crore) syndicated loan from the Dutch development bank FMO to expand its SME financing.
The landmark transaction is the largest internationally syndicated loan for any bank in Bangladesh, said a BRAC Bank release.
The syndicated facility with a tenor of five years will enable BRAC Bank to facilitate crucial trade finance support for small and medium enterprise (SME) and corporate entrepreneurs.
