The Bangladesh Football Federation on Wednesday released the first leg fixture of TVS Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football which begins from today at the two separate venues in the capital’s adjoining area with two matches are billed for the opening day.
On the first day of first round fixture, defending champions Bashundhara Kings will take on new comer Swadhinata Krira Sangha scheduled to be held at Shaheed Ahsan Ullah Master Stadium in Tongi, while Lieutenant Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited face Uttar Baridhara Club at Shaheed Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj.
On the following day (Friday), Abahani Limited, Dhaka will face Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra at Shaheed Ahsan Ullah Master Stadium in Tongi, while Saif Sporting Club meet Bangladesh Police Football Club at Shaheed Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj.
Meanwhile, in the remaining two first round matches to be held on Saturday (Feb 5) with Chittagong Abahani Limited will play against traditional old Dhaka outfit Rahmatganj Muslim and Friends Society at Shaheed Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshiganj while Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited face Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra Limited at Shaheed Ahsan Ullah Master Stadium in Tongi.
All the first round matches will kick off at 3.00pm.
