The first round of Saif Power Battery Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football begins tomorrow (July 28) at Bangabandhu National Stadium with two matches are billed for the opening day. On the day, Abahani Limited Dhaka will take on Saif Sporting Club at 4.30 pm while old Dhaka ‘outfit’ Farashganj Sporting Club meet Chittagong Abahani Limited at 6.45 pm.
Dhaka Abahani, Chittagong Abahani Limited, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi, Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra, Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra, Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited, Brothers Union Club, Rahmatganj Muslim Friends Society, Team BJMC, newcomers Saif Sporting Club and Farashganj will participate in the league. Bangla TV, a new satellite channel, will air the league matches live.
