The Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) Football begins on February 3. The BPL will be held on round-robin league basis. A total of 12 teams will take part in the BPL Football, the most prestigious domestic football competition of the country. The football competition will take place at four venues across the country due to coronavirus situation of the country. The venues are : Bashundhara Sports Complex in Dhaka, Shaheed Ahsan Ullah Master Stadium in Gazipur, Shaheed Bir Sreshtho Flight Lieutenant Matiur Rahman Stadium in Munshignaj.
Bashundhara Kings, Sheikh Jamal Dhanmondi Club Limited, Dhaka Abahani Limited, Sheikh Russel Krira Chakra Limited, Saif Sporting Club Limited, Chittagong Abahani Club Limited, Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club Limited, Bangladesh Police Football Club, Rahmatganj MFS, Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangsad Krira Chakra, Uttar Baridhara Club and Swadhinata Krira Sangha.
TVS is the title sponsor of the football competition, while private satellite sports channel T Sports will telecast the matches of the BPL Football live.
