Defending champions Comilla Victorians is set to take on Rajshahi Kings in one of the inaugural fixture of the 4th Bangladesh Premier League (BPL) T20 scheduled to begin today (Friday) at home of cricket Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium at Mirpur.
The match will be kicked off at 2.30 pm.
In the other opening day’s match of the fixture, Rangpur Riders will play against Khulna Titans which will begin at 7.45 pm at the same venue.
The BPL T20 will host 46 matches till December 9 at the two different venues in Dhaka and Chittagong.
The first phase of the competition have slots of sixteen encounters with two match billed to be held every day – one in day time and one in night – in Dhaka.
After sixteen first phase matches, which will be played in Dhaka, ten subsequent matches will be played in Chittagong’s Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium. The twenty matches of third phase, including the semifinals and final, will back in the city.
The 24-day extravaganza is expected to create an excitement having the world class foreign players in seven teams.
