A boy, who went missing in a canal filled with garbage in Kamrangirchar, has been found dead Monday.
The divers of Fire Service unit recovered the body, at noon.
Fire Service Headquarters Station Officer Md Shahidul Islam confirmed the matter to Banglanews.
Emon, with another minor fellow Hridoy, plunged into the canal near East Rasulpur of Kamrangirchar while playing there around 12:30 Sunday.
Afterwards, Hridoy was found floating but Emon couldn’t be traced.
On information, the diver team of Fire Service launched a rescue operation.
They resumed the search in the evening and later resumed at 7am Monday.
Hailed from Rangpur district, Emon would live in their rented residence with his mother Kulsum Begum in East Rasulpur.
