UNB, Bogra :
Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) rescued a four-year old boy from Satshimulia area of the town on Friday night, five days after his abduction from Ashulia in Savar, on the outskirts of the capital.
A couple-Ershad Ali and his wife Asma- were arrested in this connection.
The rescued boy was identified as Nayeem, son of Shafiqul Islam of Ashulia.
Sources at Bogra RAB camp said Shafiqul’s neighbour Ershad Ali and his wife Asma kidnapped Nayeem from his house on September 22 and demanded ransom of Tk 2 lakh from Nayeem’s family to set him free.
