A 12-year-old boy has been arrested from Kayettuli area in old Dhaka for allegedly raping a first-grader girl.
Sub-Inspector Hasan Matabbar of Bangshal Police Station said the
incident reportedly occurred on January 15.
The victim’s mother filed a case with the police station on Friday, he said. Police later arrested the boy and sent him to Tongi Juvenile Correctional Centre, SI Hasan said, adding that they were investing the incident.
