Country’s premier bourse, Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) on Monday closed trading posting nose-dive again after a day although turnover increased by 51 percent amid the cautious move of investors due to COVID-19 outbreak.
At DSE, the broad index, DSEX settled at 3956.10 points on Monday with a loss of 5.40 points or 0.13 percent.
Besides, the two selective indices, Blue Chip index, DSE30 and Shariah index, DSES also went down by 3.08 points and 1.15 points to settle at 1324.90 points and 917.42 points respectively.
On the DSE trading floor, a total number of 11,060 trades were executed in Monday’s trading session with a trading volume of 35.35 million securities.
