Sports Reporter :After showing a heroic performance in ICC World Cup Cricket 2015 in Australia and New Zealand, the Tigers return home on Sunday. Thousands of cricket fans of the country received their national heroes at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport.The Tigers arrived at the Airport on 7.45 pm.The cricket fans of the country started to gather near the Airport from 4.00 pm. Some fans of Bangladesh Cricket team arrived at the Airport wearing the jerseys of Bangladesh National Cricket team. Some cricket fans came to receive the Tigers with the national flags. Some of them were present at the Airport with floral wreaths. Some of them came at the Airport with bouquets. Officials of Bangladesh Cricket Board, organisations of fans of Tigers, different organisations warmly received their heroes with cheers, happiness and joy. Some of the organisations went to the Airport with placards and festoons. Some amateur artists painted the national flags, slogans and pictures of tigers on the face of the fans of the Tigers and earned some money.Before leaving the city for Australia, Captain of Mashrasfe Bin Mortaza said, “Our target is to play in the quarter-final.”Mashrafe fulfilled his target and did it with his teammates in a style. The Tigers defeated Afghanistan, Scotland, England and then reached the quarter-final as they deserved it. After that, they showed a heroic performance against the defending champions India.However, the Tigers proved that alls well that ends well.
