UNB, Dhaka :
Key share price index in the country’s twin bourses – Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) — gained Thursday, amid hectic trading on the last day the week.
The DSE benchmark index, DSEX gained 67.79 points or 1.41 percent to reach 4866.19 at the close of trading on Thursday. Of the 300 issues traded, 200 gained, 83 declined and 17 remained unchanged.
Shares worth Tk 1288.55 crore changed hands at the DSE on the day.
The day’s top 10 gainers at the DSE were RAK Ceramics, Peoples Leasing and Finance, Orion Infusions, Aims 1st Mutual Fund, Navana CNG, Orion Pharma, Active Fine Chemicals, Matin Spinning, City Bank, and Grameen 1.
