UNB, Dhaka :
Key share price index at the country’s twin bourses-Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) and Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) -suffered loss on Sunday, the first trading day of the week.
The DSE benchmark index, DSEX shed 28.48 points or nearly 0.62 percent to close at 4549.52 on the day. Of the issues traded, 99 increased, 172 declined and 26 remained unchanged.
Shares worth Tk 494 crore changed hands at the DSE on Sunday.
The day’s top 10 losers at the DSE were Far East Knitting and Dyeing, ICB AMCL 1st NRB Mutual Fund, Kay & Que, National Tea, Exim Bank 1st Mutual Fund, Agni Systems Ltd, Bdcom Online, Salvo Chemical, BSCCL, and Renwick Jajnesawar & Co.
The key CSE index, CSCX dropped lost 74.36 points to close at 8584.02 on the day. Of the issues traded, 55 increased, 135 declined and 27 remained unchanged.
