Booters to play Three-Nation Tournament in Nepal

The All Nepal Football Association is all set to host a new invitational Three-Nation International Football Tournament from 22 to 30 March 2021. The All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) announced the tournament on its official website on Friday.
The tournament will have participation from Nepal, Bangladesh and Kyrgyzstan. The Kyrgyzstani team will feature Olympics U-23 team. The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) is yet to give an official announcement in this regard.
The tournament will also have FIFA recognition and will be played in round-robin format. There will be total of four matches, with the top two teams playing in the final.
The Dashrath Stadium will host the matches of Three-Nation competition.
Bangladesh are also scheduled to host Afghanistan on March 25 in Sylhet, however, the Afghans are reluctant to travel to Bangladesh on grounds of Covid-19 travel restrictions. The BFF, however, mentioned earlier that they will be sticking to their decision of playing the fixture at home, as per the original schedule, and said to have been awaiting a final verdict from AFC on this matter.
