The Bangladesh national football team returned home early on Thursday (1.30 am) from Laos after playing FIFA International Friendly match against Laos National Football team held on March 27 at Laos National Stadium, Vientiane.
It was the first international match for the boys in red and green since their shocking 1-3 goal defeat against Bhutan in the Asian Cup playoffs in October, 2016.
Bangladesh played the friendly match in Laos as a part of their preparation ahead of SAFF Championship and Bangabandhu Gold Cup this year. The Bangladesh Football Federation also organised training for the national team in Thailand and Qatar ahead of the FIFA Friendly match.
The Bangladesh national football team also played two practice matches against club teams during their training in Thailand where they lost the first match and won the second one.
