The Bangladesh national football team returned home on Saturday after playing the first leg of FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifying round 1 against Laos. The Bangladesh football team arrived at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 3 am, said the Bangladesh Football Federation press release on Saturday. Earlier, a late goal by substitute Rabiul Hasan helped Bangladesh to register a solitary goal victory over Laos in the first leg held on Thursday evening in Vientiane, Laos. The second leg will be held on June 11 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium in Dhaka.
