Booters report for camp

The national booters on Tuesday reported to head coach Tom Julianus Maria Saintfiet for the residential training camp at BFF Bhaban ahead of home and away matches of AFC Asian Cup 2019 Qualifiers (play- off-2) against Bhutan.
Striker Zibon and midfielders Shahed, and Raju could not report to coach due to illness. However they are expected to join in the training camp in a day or two, said Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) media manager Ahasan Ahmed Amit to BSS over phone.
On first day of the camp, the booters had practice session under the supervision of coach Julianus Maria Saintfiet last afternoon at the Bangabandhu National Stadium (BNS).
Earlier, on Sunday, the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) picked up a 32-member preliminary squad for the tournament against Bhutan.
Bangladesh will play their home match on September 6 at BNS while the away match is slated on 11 October in Bhutan.
Preliminary squad: Goalkeeper: Rasel Mahmud Liton, Sahidul Alam Sohel, Ashraful Islam Rana and Mazharul Islam Himel. Defence: Rayhan Hasan, Nasir Uddin Chowdhury, Topu Barman, Yeamin Ahmed Chowdhury Munna, Mamun Miah, Sakil Ahmed, Ariful Islam, Rezaul Karim, Pranotos Kumar Das, Jafar Iqbal, Waly Faisal and Touhidul Alam Towhid.
Midfield: Jamal Bhuiyan, Mamunul Islam Mamun, Sohel Rana, Monaem Khan Raju, Shahedul Alam Shahed, Md Shahedul Alam Shahed, Masuk Mia Zoni, Emon Mahmud, Hemonta Vinsent Biswas, Kawsar Ali Rabbi and M Abdullah.
Forward: Jewel Rana, Rubel Miya, Zahid Hossain, Nabib Newaz Zibon and Syed Rashed Turzo.
