The Bangladesh national football team, led by Mamunul Islam Mamun, will leave here for Malaysia at the early hours of Thursday en-route to Perth, Australia to play in the FIFA World Cup Asian Qualifiers/AFC Cup Qualifiers 2018 against World 61 ranked Asian champions Australia.
The crucial match is scheduled to be played on September 3.
Before depart for Perth on Sunday (August 30), the boys in red and green will play a FIFA International friendly match against Malaysian national team on Saturday (August 29) at the Shah Alam Stadium in Kuala Lumpur as a part of their preparation of the Perth match against Australia.
After returning from Australia on Sept 4, Bangladesh will play their home match against another Asian giant Jordan on September 8 in Dhaka.
Earlier, Bangladesh grouped with Australia, Jordan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan to play home and away basis qualifying round matches.
