A glorious tradition of regular publication of some decades-Islamic Foundation, under the Ministry of Religious Affairs, has been publishing Miladun Nabi (Sm) Smoronika on the occasion of the birth and death anniversary of Hazrat Muhammad (Sm). He was the last and the greatest Messenger of Islam.
The holy Quran introduces Rasulullah (Sm) as ‘Rahmatullil Aalameen’ – ‘Mercy for all creatures.’ He propagated Islam as ‘the complete Code of life’ and established peace in the then ‘era of ignorance’ of not only Arab, but also in other lands.
The above mentioned compilation under discussion focuses on the various aspects of the unique character and the best ideals of Rasulullah (Sm), for whom the greatest personalities of the world irrespective of creed, race, caste and colour, submitted their highest praises.
The messages of the President, the Prime Minister of Bangladesh and the Minister of Religious Affairs have been printed at the beginning.
The Secretary, Ministry of Religious Affairs and the Director General of the Islamic Foundation have also given messages.
Twenty-four articles by distinguished scholars and experts on the life and teachings of Hazrat Muhammad (Sm) and 16 poems dedicated to this Saviour of humanity have been compiled in the issue.
The editors, the publisher and all concerned have contributed to uphold the unparalleled beauty of Seerat-e-Nabawi and Sunnah.
We expect wide circulation of this compilation to convey the message of the holy Quran and Sunnah to all. Let peace -the mission of the greatest Prophet of Islam prevail, where the Muslim Ummah is facing inhuman atrocities in many countries. This holy occasion calls for Islamic solidarity-there is no alternative. n
