Bonny Sengupta wants to work in Dhaka’s movies

Bonny Sengupta is one of the promising actors of Kolkata of present time. His father Anup Sengupta is a film director and mother Piya Das is an actress. His grandfather Sukhen Dasgupta was a film producer, director and also actor. So it is very natural that Bonny comes to acting. But he started acting not for their identities.
Bonny had an attachment with Minarva Theatre in Kolkata. Basically his acting interest developed from there. As a part of its continuation, he first acted in Raj Chakraborty’s movie Borbad. Through his acted first movie he got appreciation and acceptance from the viewers. Later he worked in Raj Chakraborty’s Parbona Ami Chhartey Tokey and Rajib Kumar’s Tomake Chai. Bonny acted Tomake Chai was screened in Bangladesh recently.
For the first time, Bonny is going to work in Dhaka’s a movie titled Money Rekho- Mind It. Wajed Ali Sumon is making the film. He is acting in role of Lucky in the movie.
While talking in this regard Bonny told this correspondent, “I am really enjoying working in Dhaka for acting in a movie for the first time. I want to work here more. Everybody is serious here. Therefore there is no language barrier here. It is also a plus point to show interest to work in Bangladesh.”
Sadeque Bachchu, Arjumand Ara Bokul, Mahia, Tulika Basu, among others, are also acting in the movie, which is being made to release on the occasion of coming Eid, Bonny said.
