Alam Ara Minu is a celebrated and noted singer of the country. The patriotic song titled Je Matir Buke Ghumiye Achhe
Lokkho Mukti Shena in her voice will
keep the singer alive for many years
in the people of the country with due
respect. Nasima Khan wrote lyrics of the song while Selim Ashraf has composed
its music.
Few days ago, Alam Ara Minu got appreciation to render Hosne Ara Jolly written a patriotic song titled Ekusher Gaan.
According to the singer Minu, during childhood father made her mind to interest about music. Her mother woke up Minu early in the morning for practicing music (rewaj). Basically to fulfil her parents’ dream, Minu established herself as a singer. “Our Prime Minister got huge pains in her life losing full family members including her parents in the brutal attack on August 15 in 1975. Having lifelong pains the Prime Minister is fighting everyday facing many barriers and complexities. She is trying establishing Sonar Bangla (Golden Bengal). To honor the Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and to dedicate her, this time I have rendered a song titled ‘Bongokonnya,” said the singer Minu.
Lyrics of the song were written by Hosne Ara Jolly while singer Minu herself has composed its music.
The song will be released today on National Mourning Day on Alam Ara Minu;s self-titled YouTube channel. It will be also released in another YouTube channel. While talking about the song, Alam Ara Minu said, “Few days ago, I have rendered a song which lyrics were written by Hosne Ara Jolly. I have liked the lyrics of the song, so wrote two other songs titled ‘Bangabandhu’ and ‘Bongokonnya.’ I had planned to render the song ‘Bangabandhu’ on the occasion of birth centenary of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
But I couldn’t release the song during that time. But today I am going to release another song ‘Bongokonnya’ today. While composing music of this song I got my whole life’s efforts. I hope everybody will like the song.”
Alam Ara Minu also said that she is regular performing in the stage shows now. Till now she has performed in more than 50 stage shows.
“Basically performing in the stage shows, I got inspiration to compose music during her leisure times,” said the singer.
