Bongiyo Sahitya Sangskriti Sangsad marked the World Kindness Day on the premises of Bangladesh Shilpakala Academy in the capital’s Segunbagicha area on November 13. Though noted poet Nirmalendu Goon was present to give the welcome speech in the function but in absence of him, Prof Rupa Chakraborty read out his speech. General Secretary of Bongiyo Sahitya Sangskriti Sangsad Kamrul Islam presented the theme of World Kindness Day in the programme. Disadvantaged children performed cultural presentation on the occasion. Music, recitations including self composed poems were also presented in the function. Dancers of Shilpakala Academy and dancers coordinated by Nrityaguru Laila Hasan presented dance performances.
