Two handmade bombs have exploded outside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs building in Dhaka amid the BNP-led alliance’s continuing transport blockade.
The bombs exploded on a street in front of the ministry building’s main entrance around 2pm on Sunday.
Asaduzzaman Pramanik, photographer of bdnews24.com, rushed to the spot where he found marks on the street.
He said, a truck parked on the street was being repaired when the explosion occurred. A mechanic, Mizanur Rahman, suffered splinter injuries.
The police personnel deployed in the area could not say who were involved.
Earlier, similar incidents had occurred around the Secretariat building and nearby areas during the BNP-led alliances ongoing agitation that began on Jan 5.
