The High Court bench judges who embargoed the media coverage of BNP leader Tarique Rahman’s comments are being targeted one after another. A day after a two-strong High Court bench ordered the media blackout, an improvised bomb was exploded in front of Dhaka home of Justice Abu Taher Md Saifur Rahman on Thursday evening, police said. No-one was injured in the blast at Dhanmondi. Police’s Assistant Commissioner Rezaul Islam said several youths on a motorcycle hurled the bomb at Justice Rahman’s gate. On-duty policemen fired several shots but could not detain the perpetrators. A few hours before the incident, miscreants torched the ancestral home of the other bench member, Justice Quazi Reza-Ul Hoque’s ancestral home in Feni.—bdnews24.com
