Kotwali police arrested a student of class – II of Maulana Shah Abndul Karim Primary School at Kholadanga in Jessore town for carrying a crude bomb in his school bag on Monday .
The student – Akash, 10 was arrested by the police after the crude bomb was exploded in his schoolbag after he threw it outside his classroom intending to flee his class at around 10am.
Mosammat Ferdausi, headmaster of the school told that the student is a son of Humayun Kabir of Jessore railgate area.
Quoting to the student, sub inspector Shahabul Alam told that the picked up the bomb from his area 7-8 day back as it was kept abandoned.
Ilias Hossain, officer in-charge, Kotwali police station told New Nation that the student was released later. ‘ He is an orphan,’ the OC added.
