Bomb disposal resumes at Atia Mahal in Sylhet

The bodies of two other militants, who were killed in the Atia Mahal during the army-led ‘Operation Twilight’ at Shibbari in Dakkhin Surma upazila, were recovered from the building on Monday.
A bomb disposal unit of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) resumed its work at militant den Atia Mahal at Shibbari in Dakkhin Surma upazila here on Monday morning and started on the bomb disposal bit at 1pm,
said commanding officer of Rab-9 Lt Col Ali Haider Azad Ahmed at a press conference.
The team also recovered the bodies of the militants from the building and sent those to Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital morgue, said Lt Col Ali Haider Azad Ahmed.
The two militants could not be identified as their faces were damaged with explosion of the suicide vest along with their bodies, said Lt Col Azad.
