Popular private television channel, Boishakhi TV stepped into 17th year on December 27. The channel organised elaborate programmes to celebrate the day. The programmes began with a special musical show titled 17 Bochhore Boishakhi at 8:25am. Boishakhi TV’s Deputy Managing Director and Chief Editor Tipu Alam Milon formally inaugurated the anniversary celebration by cutting cake at 11:00am.
Meanwhile, the channel is also airing two single-episode dramas and two Bangla movies, marking the day. These were Bulir Belkoni where Mosharraf Karim, Sharlin Farzana, Sheli Ahsan and others acted and Protidan where Rashed Shemanto, Ahona, Rumi, Shilpi Sharkar Apu and Dilu acted. Two Bangla movies Noyon Bhora Jal and Swami Strir
Juddho were also aired on the occasion.
