Boishakhi Television will turn 16 today (December 27).
It started its journey in 2005. To celebrate its anniversary on Decembver 27, Boishakhi TV has been decorated with
various programmes including songs, dramas and movies.
To make the day memorable, a live concert titled Boishakhi in 16 years will start at 8:30am, which will continue till 12:00
at night. The concert will be telecasted live in four segments. The first segment will start at 8:30am. Music will be performed by Yousuf Ahmed Khan and Champa Banik, Shabnam Priyanka and Tariq Mridha, Nodi and Tinni. Fakir Shahabuddin and Shilpy Biswas, Gamchha Polash and Sadia Liza, Bindu Kona and Ankon Yasmin will sing in the segment which will start at 11:05am. The third segment will start at 6:00pm. Saira Reza and Rafat will take part in this episode, while the fourth segment will start at 10:30pm where Salma and her team will perform. Sanjida Tonni, Afrin Athoy and Tasnuva Mohna will perform in the Boishakhi concert. In between the programmes, greetings of well-known personalities of the country’s famous political and cultural arena are being given. Two single episode dramas will be aired tonight. The special drama Manobota directed by Al Hazen will be aired at 8:00pm on the story written by Tipu Alam Milon, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Editor of Boishakhi TV. Rashed Shemanto and Mamo will lead roles. Nojorbondi will be telecasted at 9:00pm. Story of the play is written by Ahmed Taukir and directed by Sardar Rokon. Noyon Bhora Jol will be aired at 2:45pm.
