A local Jubo League leader was injured in an attack allegedly by activists of Swechchhasebak League near the Circuit House in the district town on Thursday over extortion.
The injured is Islam Hossain, 30, general secretary of Bonani port unit Jubo League under ward-13 and son of Yasin Ali of Betgari in Shahjahanpur. He was rushed to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital.
