The 28th National Senior and 13th Master Men’s Bodybuilding competition got underway from Tuesday through measuring weight at National Sports Council Gymnasium.
Near about 250 bodybuilders from 80 clubs will compete in the eight categories. The senior group included seven – 55th, 60th, 65th, 70th, 75th, 80 and above 80 kg – weight categories while forty up bodybuilders will take part in the master group.
However the inauguration ceremony of the competition will be held tomorrow (Wednesday).
Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation (BBF) President Major General (retd.) Subed Ali Bhuiya will present on the closing day as the chief guest and distribute the prizes.
In this regards, a press conference was held on Tuesday at the conference room of Bangladesh Olympic Association to give all the details of the meet.
BBF general secretary Nazrul Islam, FM Iqbal Bin Anwar, head of Walton sports and development committee and body and sports managing partner Saleh Mohammad were present on the occasion.
