The Marcel Cup Open Men’s Bodybuilding Championship begins on September 12 at the Gymnasium of National Sports Council. Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation will arrange the bodybuilding meet under auspices of Marcel (RB Group).
The registration will be held there on September 12 while the main competition and the prize-giving ceremony will be held at the Auditorium of National Sports Council Tower on September 13 and September 14.
To mark the forthcoming competition, a press conference was held at the Auditorium of National Sports Council Tower on Tuesday.
General Secretary of Bangladesh Bodybuilding Federation (BBF) Md Nazrul Islam, Vice-President pf BBF and First Senior Additional Director of Walton FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn and Head of Marcel (South) Matiur Rahman were present at the press conference.
The competition will be held in six weight categories. They are: 60 kg, 65 kg, 70 kg, 75 kg, 80 kg and Above 80 kg.
The winners will be awarded handsome prize-money.
A total of 200 bodybuilders from different clubs and associations will take part in the bodybuilding championship.
