Police recovered the hanging body of a furniture worker from Koitta under Saturia upazila of the district on Tuesday.
The victim was identified as Mintu Sheikh, 14, of Char Ashutoshpur village of Pabna upazila under Pabna district. He was the worker of the workshop of Jahar Lal Sutradhar of Koitta.
Sub-Inspector (SI) of Saturia Police Station Aslam Khan said the victim slept after the completion of his daily work on Monday night but he was found hanging with the ceiling of the workshop on Tuesday morning. Police said Mintu used to sleep in the workshop everyday.
After receiving information, Police rushed to the spot and rescued the body.
