Police have recovered a dead body of an old man named Fakir Chan (54), a tea shop owner, from a maize field in Gurudaspur of Natore at around 11am on Friday. The deceased was identified as Fakir Chan, son of late Hatem Ali of Natun Para of Nazirpur union of the upazila.
Officer-in-Charge of Gurudaspur Police Station Abdul Matin and family members of the deceased said that old Fakir Chan, a tea shop owner in Nazirpur Bazar used to go home from the shop on Thursday afternoon for lunch. After eating, he left the house again for the purpose of shopping. Later, when he did not go to the shop, his son tried to contact him on his mobile phone but his mobile phone was found switched off. Meanwhile after the evening, Fakir Chan’s son started searching in different places but did not found him, Then he informed the police.
